Studied at Exeter University,Devon, England 1979-83 and received a 1st class honours mathematics B.Ed.

Came to Holland in 1986 to study at the School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam and left the next year to dance in 3 productions of Tamara Huilmand from 1987-90. With her she toured in Holland, Belgium and France. Later collaborated with Tamara Huilmand in two duets Number 101, Your Time is Up 1993 and Nr102 TweeVrouw 1994 both involving elements of improvisation and play.

Also danced with Eileen Standley, Jur Londt-Schultz, Katie Duck. Started to make her own work in 1992 with solo By The Way, solofestival Amsterdam and then followed Greenriverredriver 1994 (DansWerkplaats Amsterdam/ Chisenhale London) and collaborations with live music Dance You Monster 95 with trumpettist Rajesh Mehta( Melkweg productions ) and K-K- Kip 97 with singer/ songwriter Han Buhrs ( [Nes]theaters ).
Her first group pieces were produced by DansWerkplaats Amsterdam, Sob Sob 95 and Ha Ha Sob Sob 96. Since 1997, the [Nes]theaters produce her work, receiving money from Dutch funding bodies, including the choreographies; Divas and Cowboys 99-2000 ( series of 7 portraits , including 1 self portrait ), A Man 2001 with Khosro Adibi, Lily Kiara, Mat Voorter, and her new production Amoeba Blues, jan 2003, with a tour planned for 2004.
In these last 2 pieces she collaborated with composer Han Buhrs. She received a commission to make a short dance film in january 2003, Waterman, in collaboration with Han Buhrs and Rein Hazewinkel as part of the television dance film Body of Water, a collaboration of the BBC (UK) and NPS (Dutch TV) for 2003.
She is planning a solo production in collaboration with Han Buhrs live,
Amsterdam, a project from the street to the theatre, for november 2004.
Teaches regularly at the School for New Dance Development, the Theaterschool Amsterdam, technique, movement research and improvisation , and composition. Gives workshops in Holland and abroad for both amateurs (Stichting Buitenkunst) and professional students.
Currently studying her final year at the School for Iokai Shiatsu 2000-04.
